Changes afoot at Guardian Network

Uniting AgeWell has this week announced its Guardian Network business will no longer provide labour hire services from 26 May 2024.

As you may be aware, Guardian Network is a wholly owned company of Uniting AgeWell, providing labour hire services to other aged care organisations.

As Uniting AgeWell has experienced significant growth and demand for its own homecare services, this decision enables us to strengthen our home care workforce, which currently supports over 14,000 clients annually.

All staff who currently work in the Guardian Network business are already Uniting AgeWell employees and will be offered redeployment opportunities within UA’s home care services in their current geographic region.  From 27 May 2024, they will work under the Uniting AgeWell brand, wear the Uniting AgeWell uniform and name badge and deliver services to Uniting AgeWell customers.

Our P&C business partners and Home Care Directors are working with the GN staff to ensure a smooth transition to their new UA location and line manager.

We know that you will warmly welcome those staff who will be joining our home care teams and support them through this time of change.
