The latest and best practices in infection prevention were shared with nearly 30 key people across the organisation at study days in Victoria and Tasmania recently.

The 2024 Infection Prevention and Control Study Day was held at Wesley Place on 28 February and on 5 March in Tasmania.

It is an opportunity for Infection Control Leads from across the organisation to come together and discover the best practices in infection prevention.

It also provided an opportunity for members to network with their peers to discuss common challenges.

The full day’s training was also attended by Hotel Services team members, who were invited to share their infection prevention strategies with the IPC Leads.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive – and the IPC leads also now have a greater understanding of the role the Hotel Services Team plays in prevention infection.
