On Wednesday 14 August, Program and Operations Managers were welcomed to Wesley Place, Melbourne (pictured) for the next round of the Frontline Leaders Program.

This program has been tailored for Program Managers and Operations Managers working in Home Care and AgeWell Centres while the inaugural Front Line Leaders Program was for Clinical Leaders and Registered Nurses.

The bespoke Uniting AgeWell Learning and Development program focuses on the principles of clear conversations, communicating with courage and confidence, resolving conflict, providing meaningful and effective feedback to direct reports, leading with performance, and creating cohesion within teams.

Additionally the program includes developing skills to both "manage up" and "manage down" and ensure that UA corporate structures and policies are adhered to without compromising the human element involved in leading, supporting and guiding team members to be their BEST.

Upcoming opportunities

Uniting AgeWell offers professional development to team members across Uniting AgeWell.

There are training programs scheduled for this month and next.  

The training is targeted at clinical and non-clinical staff with a focus on leadership.
