The Move Challenge aims to raise awareness of the importance of moving to keep ourselves healthy, both physically and mentally.
You can still join the move-ment today. We’d love to hear from you!
There are a number of Rebel Sport gift vouchers to be won. All you have to do is carry your mobile with you and let the app do all the work. You can do as little or as much as you like. The app calculates every movement and converts to steps. Even if you sit at your desk and do arm lifts!
Remember once you’ve downloaded the app, you need to scroll down to join the challenge.
Jan joined the move-ment and is an advocate for embracing it.
Jan from Bendigo jumped at the chance to join the challenge. Already a convert, her daughter recommended she start counting her steps to get fit and is also now enjoying the initiative.
“I’m happy to join a team. My role is intake in Bendigo so I visit many clients each week across the Loddon Mallee region. I could travel up to and over 500kms a fortnight.
It is very important for me to be healthy and mobile for my role.”
Jan is aiming to do 12,000 steps a day and believes this, coupled with a healthy food regime, has made a big difference to her. She currently does 5,000 steps before breakfast.
Jan is pictured walking around Lake Weeroona in Bendigo, her happy place.

How do I sign up?
All staff have access to the app which can be downloaded via your mobile phone.
Once you join via the app, you will be allocated to a team of colleagues that you may or may not know drawn from across Victoria and Tasmania. Together, your combined movement over six weeks will be calculated and the winning team will be announced just after RUOK? Day.
All movement will be converted to steps. Even if you’re not walking regularly, other activities are included in your team results. Whether you ride a horse, a bike, do yoga or sail a boat, the app will convert your movement to steps which make up your team’s results.
There are prizes to be won and the winners will be announced after RUOK Day 2024.
