At Uniting AgeWell, we know that our capacity to achieve innovative high quality aged care services lies in the loyalty, commitment, skill and experience of our staff across all levels of the organisation.

We are absolutely committed to investing in our staff and providing opportunities for professional and personal development and further education.  We want to see our staff flourish in their aged care career.

Reflecting this commitment, Uniting AgeWell is delighted to announce the launch of its Scholarship Program.

• Each year, up to 110 scholarships from a pool of $250,000 will be awarded in Rounds.

• Round One applications open on 16 September 2024.

• Scholarships range in value from < $500 up to $10,000.

What can the scholarship be used for?

You can apply for a scholarship to attend a conference, seminar, master class or training program, or to contribute towards the satisfactory completion of a higher education degree, diploma or certificate.

Who can apply?

All permanent staff from across the organisation are eligible to apply for a scholarship relevant to their current or future role within Uniting AgeWell.

What you must have is the commitment to develop your skills to benefit your role and career development at Uniting AgeWell and to make a difference in the lives of older people.

Important dates: Round One

• Open to receive applications: Monday, 16 September 2024

• Closing date: 5pm Wednesday, 16 October 2024.

All staff will be sent an email with a link to the scholarships information and application process on 16 September.
