You’ve got to be pretty committed to a cause to sit in a pool and have a bucket of icy water poured over you in the middle of a Tasmanian winter.

So hats off to the staff and residents at Rosetta Community Strathglen who took part in the Big Freeze fundraiser on 11 June.

The fundraiser, which is not for the fainthearted, is to raise awareness of and to help fight Motor Neurone Disease (MND).  Collectively they raised $722!

The pictures say it all!  So congratulations to Nurse Harpreet Singh, Care Manager Wendy Chamberlaine, ECAs Rachel Hall, Jenny Prero and Gemma Cole, Chef Andrew Later, David Millerchip in maintenance and Administration Officer Sally Cooper.  Also to two residents and a third from our independent living units.
